Shipping Costs

Shipping within the United States is based on total weight of the shipment and not the price of an order.  We ship through the United States mail unless otherwise specified.  Nova Science LLC also offers expedited shipping via UPS and FedEx. All costs are clearly shown before a customer makes a final purchase.

Shipping Policies

All orders are processed on a daily basis during a normal workweek. Processing includes verifying item availability, quintiles, payment entry, packaging, and shipping.  Multiple item orders and out of stock orders may be subject to partial shipment.  Partial shipments are subject to only shipping charges for the first in-stock items. Nova Science will pay additional shipping costs.

Out of Stock Items

If we are unable to fill a complete order we will contact you for approval of a partial shipment if appropriate.  We attempt to update our website to show item availability but occasionally we are unable to do so.  Out of stock items are typically replaced within 7-14 days.  We will contact you if shipping will take longer than 30 days from your original order.  You may cancel your order up until the day it ships after which purchase will be final except for damaged goods.

Special Orders

Single large orders may not be immediately filled if filling such an order would deplete our stock of that item.  Should this occur a representative will contact you to discuss purchase and shipping options.

Inventory

We attempt to maintain a 30-day inventory of items we sell.  This includes inventory on hand and that has been ordered. Our inventory management consists of a Point of Sale system for tracking physical inventory through sales.  Physical inventory is checked on no less than a weekly basis.  While not anticipated, there may be simultaneous purchases of the same item from different sources such that the inventory is inadvertently depleted.  Our inventory control system should prevent such an occurrence.  But, please be assured that all orders and inside sales are processed independently.  Your order will be filled as soon as we are able to retrieve it and replenish our stock.
